22 Best Low Slippage Forex Brokers

Slippage refers to the difference between the price at which a trader places their trade and the price at which the trade is executed. This can either be to the trader’s advantage  which is referred to as positive slippage or a traders disadvantage which is negative slippageSlippage can occur when a Forex Trader either enters a market or upon exiting. When a market order is placed via a no dealing desk broker or NDD, the trader will be provided with a bid/ask price on their trading platform and will make use of this to place a trade. However, if the price is not available for their order at the time of execution, it will be filled at the next available price in the market; or a part of the trade will be filled at the requested price, but the remainder will be filled at the next best available price.

Slippage can be a result of high market volatility, which can happen immediately following a news opening. Execution speeds will also play a major role in slippage with delays between the initiation of the order and the execution thereof possibly resulting in a price change. Delays can also be caused by the trader when making use of a lacklustre internet connection or by placing the trade through a broker which does not offer the most advanced technology available.  A trader will want to maximise positive slippage and reduce or avoid negative slippage.

Here is an overview of the 22 Best Forex Brokers and Trading Platforms with Low Slippage.
