Hochschild Mining plc, a British-based silver and gold-mining company, was founded in 1911 and is headquartered in Lima, Peru.

The company’s roots can be traced back to the original Hochschild Group established in 1911 by Mauricio Hochschild.

For fiscal 2018, the company produced 19.7 million attributable ounces of silver and 260.4 thousand attributable ounces of gold for a combined total of about 39.0 million attributable silver equivalent ounces or 527 000 gold equivalent ounces.
Today, the company employs more than 4 000 people across its operations.
