Canterbury Resources

Buy Canterbury Resources shares

Canterbury Resources Limited is an emerging resource company focused on creating shareholder wealth by generating, exploring and monetizing potential Tier-1 copper-gold projects in the southwest Pacific. The company has a history dating back to 2011, and has established a strong portfolio of projects in Australia, Papua New Guinea and Vanuatu that are prospective for porphyry copper-gold and epithermal gold-silver deposits.

The company is managed by an experienced team of resource professionals, with a strong track record of exploration success and mine development in the region.

The company is involved in drilling programs at three of its more advanced assets – the Briggs porphyry copper project in Queensland, plus the Ekoato and Bismarck porphyry copper-gold projects in Papua New Guinea. Each program provides the potential for the discovery and delineation of a large-scale copper resource.

The 100% owned Briggs and Ekoato prospects are being managed and funded by Canterbury, while the Bismarck Project is currently being managed and sole-funded by Rio Tinto Exploration (PNG) Limited as part of a Farm-In and Joint Venture Agreement.

  • In Australia, Canterbury Resources holds the Briggs & Mannersley Projects, which it made the decision to purchase from Rio Tinto in 2017 (Rio Tinto retains back-in rights in the event of a major discovery), plus the Fig Tree Hill Project. The Projects are located inland from Gladstone in one of the most important porphyry belts in Queensland and are prospective for large scale porphyry copper mineralization.

  • At Briggs, the company is achieving very encouraging drill results, testing a large copper porphyry system, including higher grade features.

  • In Papua New Guinea, a large strategic tenement position has been established at the Ekuti Range Project, where historic explorers outlined extensive surface copper-gold mineralization and completed limited drilling of narrow, high grade structures.

  • Work to date has identified large-scale buried porphyry copper-gold targets that will be drill tested in the near term. In addition, the company owns the Ipi River Project covering porphyry copper-gold systems where compelling IP targets have been identified, but are yet to be drill tested.

  • In Vanuatu the company has established a strategic portfolio which covers areas that display many geological similarities to the rich Hauraki Goldfield in New Zealand, but has received minimal attention from past explorers. An exciting drill target has been generated at the Tafuse epithermal gold prospect.

  • Canterbury Resources is committed to operating sustainably across its portfolio, ensuring that local communities benefit from these operations and that it maintains a minimal environmental impact.

  • To this end, it works towards local community upliftment, with regards to job creation and to supporting local projects, while ensuring that all its operations are carried out safely and securely with full acknowledgement of sustainable best practices, to maintain and open and ethical relationship with all of its stakeholders.

  • Canterbury Resources Limited trades on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) where investors can buy shares under the stock symbol –CBY.

  • Data from the company’s 2019 financial analysis shows net assets of the group rose by US Dollar 7.9 million from US Dollar 3.5 million at 30 June 2018 to US Dollar 10.6 million at 30 June 2019.

  • The company’s asset developments in strongly prospective deposit regions set it in good stead to gather returns going forward, providing a rising share price for investors with good long-term growth in dividends, and securing a solid buy-in for those who choose to purchase shares today.

Buy CANTERBURY RESOURCES stocks / shares – A Step by Step Guide how to Buy / Purchase CANTERBURY RESOURCES Stocks or Shares online.

Before buying any stock or share one has to consider a few factors.

Upon deciding you want to buy CANTERBURY RESOURCES Stocks / Shares, it is critical for the serious investor to do proper research into the said company. Its values should align with those of the investor’s current portfolio. An investor needs to familiarise himself with the basics and history of the company, as well as its leadership and performance in the market. Its company reports should also be scrutinized.

Consultation with a brokerage firm can also assist in determining whether investing in a specific company will complement the investor’s current portfolio. The investment “risk ladder”, which identifies asset classes based on their relative riskiness, is another useful tool when determining which company’s stock / share is the best to buy.

It is important for an investor to monitor his total investment in stock in order to keep his portfolio aligned to his investment strategy. The overall value of his holdings will change with the fluctuation in stock prices, which can throw his portfolio off balance. To determine the amount to invest, multiply the number of shares of each stock by its current market price to determine the total investment in that specific stock. For example, if you own 100 shares of a US Dollar 5 stock, multiply 100 by US Dollar 5 to get US Dollar 500.

Investors can choose from a market order, a limit order, a stop order (also referred to as a stop-loss order) or a buy/sell stop order. It is important to familiarise yourself with each type’s pros and cons before deciding which one will suit your current stock profile best. An investor should be guided in this choice by his investment objective.

A brokerage account – also known as taxable investment account – is similar to a retirement account, but more flexible. Where a retirement account has limitations on the amount of money that can be contributed annually, and restrictions on when funds can be withdrawn, a brokerage account is more flexible. The latter has no income or contribution limit and the investor can withdraw his money at any given time. This flexibility, together with its potential investment gains, makes a brokerage account more attractive to serious investors. Brokerage accounts are ideal for goals or savings that are further than five years away, but closer than retirement. It can also supplement an investor’s emergency savings.

Lastly, commit to the stock. Pro Tip: Monitor the value of your stock to ensure you have a growing stock value and dividend pay-out.  Regularly check the share price online to ensure your investment delivers a positive return on investment. You are now a proud owner of CANTERBURY RESOURCES stocks / shares.
