AMarkets Islamic Account

The purpose of an Islamic Account is that it caters specifically to Muslim traders who strictly follow Sharia law. The law prevents its followers from paying any type of interest, such as overnight fees, which is seen as wasteful or exploitive.

Overnight fees are charged should traders hold positions open for longer after the trading day has concluded and this type of account allows exemption from such fees or interest, should they hold positions open for longer.

AMarkets offers an Islamic Account option to Muslim traders who follow Sharia law. With AMarkets, Muslim traders can convert any of the three live trading accounts, standard, fixed, or ECN, to an Islamic Account.

In addition, AMarkets offers additional benefits to Muslim traders who convert their live trading account into that of an Islamic account. These benefits and additional features include:

  • Ultra-fast and accurate order execution.
  • Zero overnight commissions or swaps on forex instruments.
  • Spreads start from 0.3 pips.
  • Assurance that AMarkets is 100% Sharia law-compliant.
  • Access to more than 250 financial instruments.

In order to qualify for an Islamic Account, the trader must attest to being a Muslim by providing proof of their religious affiliation which has been endorsed by a Muslim religious authority.

Traders need to note that the swap-free service which is offered through the Islamic Account option can only apply to forex and thus, the available trading instruments that Islamic Account holders have access to may differ greatly from the list of tradable financial instruments for standard accounts.

In addition, Islamic Account holders are prohibited from participating in any bonus programs or promotions provided by AMarkets.

As per the AMarkets Islamic Trading Account Use Agreement, there are no additional charges indicated on the Islamic Account such as wider spread, higher commissions, or any additional administrative fees.
